About Sevenapples

One sleepless night in 2004 I sat staring into the unflinching reality that I had just spent the last decade of my life at the bottom of a bottle.  Lost in a deep hangover of loneliness and fair-weather friends, I began to realize that the foundation of my life was rooted in money, mixed drinks, and a growing melancholy.  I had no one to turn to, and nothing to show for my 27 years save the midnight misgivings of a thousand selfish choices.    

It was at that moment that I asked God for help, and nothing has ever been the same.

Wherever you're hurting, whatever you're wrestling with, you don't have to walk through it alone.  Jesus is real, he loves you, and he's waiting to hear from you right now.

My name is Justin Ulmer, and Sevenapples is my ministry in pictures devoted to demonstrating the love of Jesus to the world.  All of my art is rooted in scripture, and the living, breathing message therein.  Each piece is titled after a specific verse whose meaning is thereby accentuated by the beautiful bits of color and light that I endeavor to blend together.

I fully believe from the testimonies I have been blessed to share in that the witness of these good creations holds the full potential power to change a life forever.  I invite you to join me in the everlasting journey of His Good News as it continues to travel to every tribe, tongue, and nation.
